Functional Medicine Health Coaching takes those principles, focusing on five lifestyle pillars – Nourishment, Movement, Sleep, Stress Resilience & Relationships/Support – and pairs them with positive psychology to set and achieve personalized wellness goals that matter to each client as a unique individual.
It is a truly holistic, patient-based approach that prides itself on spending the time to ask questions, investigate, and connect dots across the mind, body, & soul, making adjustments along the journey.

The mind & body are inextricably connected and in two-way communication at all times. Mind-Body Medicine uses the power of the conscious mind, as well as body-based practices, to positively influence all systems in the body and how they work together.
Studies dating back to the 1960s found the very real impact of “Fight or Flight,” or the “Stress Response,” versus the “Rest & Repair,” or “Relaxation Response,” on physical health, and that research is growing exponentially. Mind-Body Medicine helps you retrain your brain & nervous system to be in relaxation & repair mode more easily & often.
Chronic stress & unresolved trauma are the biggest disruptors to our wellbeing, making Nervous System Regulation, or Stress Resilience, the absolute key, or foundation, to overall health. This is especially important for highly sensitive & chronically ill people, as it has the ability to extinguish over-reactivity and elicit balance & healing.

Typically 8-week groups that meet once a week to learn a little of the "why," or science, behind the Mind-Body connection, with a focus on trying many different, easy to implement practices & tools. Lots of sharing & support, as well. The healing power of a group is very real!
